OT Sorta: Early NBA Draft entry

Since a lot of the discussion concerning the state of our current bb program has to do with losing players early to the NBA, I thought being a former UCLA bb fan I'd take a look at their history. Every year it seems they lose guys early (some you wouldn't expect) and haven't been able to sustain any consistent success. To some degree this even affects Kentucky and North Carolina. The link below shows UCLA's history of players leaving early. Sure these players were replaced by highly rated kids but they are always young and every year it seems they are starting over. Losing Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook early the same year (2008) certainly left a hole. That would have been a pretty salty team coming back. Hell Alford didn't even start Zach Levine in the only year he donned a Bruin uniform:
