Update on Missouri’s coaching search:

sources tell FootballScoop that athletic director Mack Rhoades is ready to interview, make a decision and get his new head coach to Columbia.

Per sources, Toledo head coach Matt Campbell is expected to interview and is considered a strong candidate. Sources tell FootballScoop that Campbell, who is quite content at Toledo, would accept the opportunity to become the next head coach at Missouri if offered, adding, “and he’d be the exact leader that place needs. He’s a team builder. Strong personality that people gravitate towards.”


Defensive coordinator Barry Odom is expected to receive an interview as well.



Sources: North Texas approaching a hire

TCU offensive coordinator Doug Meacham and North Carolina assistant head coach for offense Seth Littrell.

Sources told FootballScoop Friday evening the North Texas search is down to TCU offensive coordinator Doug Meacham and North Carolina assistant head coach for offense Seth Littrell.

UNT athletics director Rick Villarreal is expected to interview Meacham on Sunday, and the hope is to have a hire announced by early next week.
