The timing for Sinclair to play hardball with YouTube TV couldn't be worse. Their Fox regional channels have been taken off YouTube TV, but with no sports being played their negotiating position has to be severely weakened. And they are now getting no revenue for those channels from YouTube TV.
I know I don't have the perspective of both sides of this feud, but based on earlier actions I've always considered Sinclair to be greedy SOB's. So it kind of brings a smile to my face that they blew this one. At least for now. When sports resumes, most of the Big 12 that is not on a major linear network will be on ESPN+.
