Something got me to thinking about regrets in my life a couple weeks back.
Bill's thread about a day that lives in infamy brought it back now.
I have no regrets about big things,
All the major league clusterf's I have created, I would do exactly the same things if I had it to do over.
No regrets about being a terminally single gruff curmudgeon either.
I have come up with four.
1. Never seeing Alvin Lee play live.
2. Not chasing down and seeing Lynyrd Skynrd live in the summer of '75 or '76.
Before the plane crash. Preferably outdoors in a stadium.
3. Not taking the drive to Chicago to participate in Disco Demolition Night.
4. Not turning off the damn TV when the double foul involving Shirley was called in auburn Hills. I didn't need to see what followed. And wish I hadn't.
