So we have a 11-12 Blue Point Siamese Cat we got from the Humane Center. She was found along a country road when she was about 1 year old. She's a little overweight but we've only fed her the recommended amount of cat food everyday. No treats at all. I'm not a cat person but had a weak moment. My wife had a similar cat growing up and is really attached.
Anyway she's developed a firm lump by her right rib area next to her mammary. The local vet said taking a sample to see if it is cancerous isn't reliable. Her options are a local mass removal only for $730 or a Chain Mastectomy and xrays for $1,305. It doesn't seem to bother her and appears to be encapsulated. What do you suggest? I say let nature takes it's course but let's try to limit the jokes here.
TIA
