On a different but related matter, Sony has just released PlayStation Vue, their internet-based TV subscription. For $35/mo with no contract you can get 70+ cable channels (Core package) including all of the ESPN stations, Fox Sports Net, your regional Fox Sports, Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 (and Bravo, E!, Food Network, among others). They offer a cheaper package with fewer stations and a more expensive package with more stations, but the Core package has all of the sports channels. PlayStation Vue is available on the PS3 and PS4 consoles as well as CromeCast, FireTV, and your mobile device via the PlayStation Vue app. It's all cloud-based, including the DVR. You will need a fast internet connection, especially if you are streaming content to multiple devices.
