First of all, I have a Walmart special phone that costs $35 a month for service. It fits my needs so don't judge. The phone cost about $90, so it's not expensive, but it is a smart phone and I've had this one about 5 years. Now the problem.
I tried making a call today and it just keeps dialing and never connects. People who try calling me say it goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail woman sounds like she's in a tunnel. Texting still works but when I dial, the dial screen pops up where it shows icons for mute, speaker phone, dial pad, etc., the icon for contacts is grayed out. I don't know if that is the way it usually is or not.
Is there some setting on my phone that maybe I don't know about that would cause the phone/dialing not to work but still allow texting to work? Anyone know?
