First off, thank you to those of you who recommended On With Life. What a tremendous place.
My son did start therapy there a couple weeks back. Has already passed out of Occupational Therapy, and should be out of speech and physical therapy soon. We all feel that he is extremely lucky, all things considered.
After meeting with the neurosurgeon yesterday, he has been fully cleared for all activity. Brain bruise is gone in 3.5 weeks (said it could take 3 months).
He is ready to play again, and he is hoping to get his 5th year from the NCAA.
3.5 weeks ago that was the furthest thing from my mind.
