So each September an REC patronage refund would arrive in the mail. Years ago I used a fair amount of electricity running hog confinement fans and grain dryers, so the patronage checks always bought a few Cyclone football and basketball road trips from eastern Iowa.
My latest patronage check arrived in the mail yesterday...for 86 cents. I'm thinking that gravy train is probably over.
