I was listening to KXnO and heard them talking about the Spotted Cow that they discovered mold in at least one of the bottles, after people had been drinking it. Yuck. It reminded me of a party we had many years ago with some new Cedar Rapids friends. One of the guys was making a big deal out of his oil can sized Fosters beer that was new on the scene at the time.
The size of the can was a topic for discussion, but he was playing it up as he drank it about how good it was. Until it wasn't. Something wasn't right. When he poured it out in the sink to see what it was, it was a bunch of mold. Fosters is a big can. It was a lot of mold. Gross. I could never drink a Fosters to this day. In fact, I have been known at times to look in my beer can to make sure it's all beer in there. It's not the reason I like beer in bottles, but bottles do have their advantages.
