I have been wanting a new computer for a long time. My old Dell with the large 17" display is getting old and it's a bit of a load to tote back and forth to the condo. About a year ago I became really intrigued by the Microsoft Surface products, but they seemed to be overpriced. So I started looking at other 2:1 tablet/laptops and those always came up short in one way or another. Recently Microsoft came out with the Surface Book. It's more of a laptop than a tablet and is a very capable computer. But it also seemed to be overpriced.
I finally determined that the Surface Book met my needs and bought one today. My first impressions are great if you can get over the price tag. The pen is quite handy for surfing this message board. Does anybody else have one of these?
