There are far too many physicians using hydroxychloroquine with success to ignore their claims. The study linked below found 91.6% clinical improvement in 2,197 of 2,333 patients. As for new drugs, Gilead's remdesivir is under continuous study as well with recent reported 63% clinical improvement. Not sure on that number as I can't find it back now. Link to the remdesivir report at the bottom of this post.
This was released by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons on findings of 2,333 patients.
