Something I find really depressing is how there isn't a lot of batting cages anymore. I know that sounds ridiculous but they're nearly impossible to find. People that live in Council Bluffs have to travel all the way out in West Omaha to find a cage.
My sister lives in Tabor, Iowa and the next closest place for a batting cages Shenandoah. Is Des Moines more populated for the young baseball enthusiast? I just found it kind of sad is all.
