Great afternoon, so I decided to play 18 at the club I belong to.
I was a single and ran into a foursome at the halfway house. Good sticks... one guy has won the city tournament about 12 times. Another gentleman has played in the U. S. Senior Open and the British Senior Amateur. Know both of them and they are good guys.
Another member of the group introduced himself and then said “ You have two strikes against you.”
I am left handed and have an ISU golf bag. So I said “ Left handed and an Iowa State fan. Heard it about 1,000 times.”
Because I don’t have your verbal dexterity Jersey, all I could think of to do was hit the guy with my 5 iron.
Probably a better response but it sure felt good.
