I posted this on another board a little bit earlier, but I wanted to also open it up for discussion over here. Why are Hawk fans so excited about this class? Whenever you bring up next year with a Hawk fan they immediately begin talking about these guys who are going to be studs. Really?
Brandon Hutton- W. Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, St Frances, Illinois Chicago
Andrew Flemming- Colorado State, Florida, Memphis, Morehead St, Nebraska, Tennessee Tech, UNLV
Isaiah Moss- Auburn, DePaul, E. Carolina, Greenbay, Iowa St, N. Illinois, Temple. Illinois Chicago, Wyoming (Is the Iowa State offer legit? I would probably say no since I don't remember hearing about this guy. Maybe I'm wrong.
Ahmad Wagner- Bucknell, Kent St., Minnesota, Texas Tech, Toledo, Wright St.
None of these are top 150 players according to Rivals
And I know I can probably pull out a long list of guys with similar offers who went on to be all Big 12, all Big 10 players etc... But my point is- if Iowa State was out there bragging and talking this class up, Iowa fans would make us a laughing stock of message boards. Similar to when we sign football players with offers from Mac teams.
If anybody notices something I'm missing please jump in, but I just don't see how this is such a good class?
