I'm back in Ogden for the week visiting family. My brother, who works for REG in Ames, got us the company tickets to the I Cubs game last night. Due to the rainout on Tuesday, last night was a 5 PM, 7 inning double header instead of the 7PM start time. We had first row seats in Section V.
Kudos to the I Cubs for having free water and sunscreen available. We brought in some water bottles, and my girls were able to refill them constantly which kept them, if not cool, relatively healthy. Do they do that all season?
Between games, I took them to the fountain in right field to cool down and got interviewed by Channel 5 about beating the heat.
Going back to Webster City for Day 3 of the Hamilton County Fair. My niece is in her first year of 4H and is involved in showing her dog and horses. Her younger brother and sister have bottle-fed goats to be shown today.
