No I'm not done with the football program or with Rivals. My company just announced a voluntary retirement program that looks too good to pass up. As long as I don't see anything bad in the fine print, I will move into the next phase of my life before the end of the year. If I go for this my last day will probably be mid December.
I have really enjoyed my job and the flexibility that allowed me to work from Ames. I was probably going to retire in 6 months to 2 years anyway, or go part time, but when they came out with a great retirement incentive program, it makes the decision to go now a no-brainer.
So how many other folks non here are retired or within a year or two?
