No I'm not talking about Finals. As some of you may remember, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer early this year. I started Chemo treatments the week after the Big 12 tournament and spent most of my summer in Rochester getting 8 weeks of radiation treatments. Today I just finished getting blood tests, CT Scans and X-rays. This was an important series of tests to see if the treatments worked. I had the same tests in August, but they said before hand it would be too soon to see the effects of the treatments. Anyway the results were great. The only bad news, which I knew when all this started, is that I have a rare form of cancer that they don't know much about. I think what that means is CT Scans and X-rays will continue to be a regular event in my future. Apparently PSA tests can't be relied on for my form of cancer. My PSA has been negligible (<0.10 ng/mL) both in August and again today.
Bottom line is this is great news for me today.
