I suppose I'm asking for advice after the fact here, but I just want to know what you guys think of this deal, I guess.
I picked up my home phone to make a call Sunday night and instead of a dial tone, I was getting a buzzing noise. Now this phone has been going out on me for quite a while. First, two of the three hand sets quit working, then the answering machine function quit on me about four weeks ago, and more recently, whenever I called someone, they sometimes said they could barely hear me.
I haven't had a cellphone for at least 10 years. I moved and the service I had didn't have coverage in the new location, so I got a landline and that's what I've had since. So I know nothing about cellphones.
Anyway, I got an LG Optimus Fuel phone for $39.95 and a prepay service for $35 a month that allows me unlimited text and calling, plus 2.5G of data each month. I could have gone with a $25 a month service that eliminated the 2.5G of data, but I thought what's the use of having a smart phone without that.
Wondering what you guys think of the phone and the deal.
