I'm posting this because we have to compete with our neighboring states for recruits. I know our staff recruits Minnesota. Well, the Gophers are 5-0, but they haven't played anyone. They were lucky to play Purdue without their starting QB and More left early in the second Q I believe. Now they play Nebraska at home and Nebraska won't have Martinez. After that they get Rutgers so they have a good chance at 7-0. My Gopher friends are excited in their texts, I wanted to text back they haven't played anyone but didn't. This is a perfect example of schedules matter. The only tough team from the east they get this year is Penn State. The Big 10 west allows okay teams to accumulate wins, it is easier to get to a minimum 6 or 7 wins playing in that division in college football.
