Mad Fran's son, 2017 4⭐️ G Connor McCaffrey (#110 overall recruit), did not sign an LOI in the early signing period. There was some speculation that this was due to scholarship number issues at Iowa. The next signing period is April 12, 2017 - May 17, 2017, which is following the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament. Could the real reason be that Mad Fran is not 100% sure he will be back at Iowa next year? Just thinking out loud.
