I was coming back to Ames last night from Milwaukee and took Hwy 20 west through Dubuque like I normally do. I was surprised to be rerouted through Dubuque on a Hwy 20 West detour that took me to Centralia and then Peosta before getting access to 20 again.
I need to make this trip a couple more times over the next few weeks. Is this a winter-long project going on? Also, is 20 East also detoured through Dubuque?
(I took a different route other than 20 going up to Wisky on Tuesday, so I was unaware of the the road construction).
