Yup, I did the nasty and went over there. But I had to cut and past this one. Who has ever been to Kinnick and NOT experienced this? That place is a sub-60K stadium that they shoe-horn nearly 70K of fat arses into....
I am sure I am not the first to have this problem, but I am looking for the right solution. I purchased 4 seats for the Iowa/Wisconsin game. My wife and I planned to take another couple with us, but the plans fell through, so I sold the extra pair on a secondary market website. I had Seats 1-4, and sold off 3 and 4, and kept 1 and 2.
30 seconds before kick-off, our row is full, except for seats 3 and 4. Then creeping up the aisle we see 3 and 4 heading our way. Neither my wife or I have large back sides, and we always fit in our seats just fine. But 3 and 4....no way. They slid in as the crowd stood for kick-off. And, they made sure they sat down first each time the crowd stood, completely covering seat 3 and 4, part of 5 and all of 2. That left me with nowhere to sit, as my wife was slid to seat 1.
What's the proper thing to do?
A. Sit on the steps next to the bleacher.
B. Try to spot empty seats somewhere in the stadium and move.
C. Find security, explain the problem, and see what is suggested.
D. Say: "Hey...Fat Asses, Buy 3 Seats next time!"
In "hind" sight, I would never keep seat 1 again. I should have sold seat 1 and 2.
Thoughts?
