I have been asked by a friend to assist him in a BBQ cookoff this weekend in Dwight, IL. I have attached a link to the event. Sounds like it will be a beautiful weekend. I'm not sure what else is going on with Springfest...I assume the typical small Midwestern town kind of stuff. I will be competing on the Smokn Joe's Firehouse BBQ team. This will be my first time doing something like this.
The event is sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Association, so it should be a cool event.
Not sure if I'm up for pulling an all-nighter or not...but we'll know soon enough!
