The Iowa Board of Regents is considering whether to ask the Iowa Legislature for an average 3 percent increase in state appropriations to general education funds of ISU, UNI, according to a story in the Register, but not for the U of Iowa.
The possible general fund increase request breaks down to a 8.1 percent increase to the University of Northern Iowa, a 4.5 percent increase to Iowa State University and a zero percent for the University of Iowa.
I wonder what the U of Iowa president candidates think of that?
