OT - B1G to Play Friday Night Games in 2017+

B1G announced today that there will be six Friday night games played in 2017. Friday night games will be limited to September and October only, and not every team (obviously) will play a Friday game. "Schools with huge stadiums, such as Penn State and Ohio State, won't be asked to host." Michigan has declined to participate, either at home or on the road.

I would think this would be a waste of a home date for recruiting for those schools that do play a Friday home game.
