Was that following Easter break? I remember trucking across campus for an 8:00 class, only to find it had been cancelled. Got something like 13 inches of white stuff. Great for snowball fights and house parties.
Had it been 5 degrees colder today, we would have had a similar amounts of snow. The level of water sitting in my cattle grain bunk tonight suggests that we had 1 to 1.5 inches of rain today (Waverly). Didn’t start snowing until 6 pm.
For anyone with planting aspirations, it might be well to wait a week until the ground warms up.
