There was a contingent of about 10 Hawk fans sitting two rows in front of me in Section P. They were pretty vocal during the game, and obviously loved their Hawks. But I was amazed that during the break in action when the men's BB team was recognized for their season and for winning the Big 12 Tournament, every one of them stood up and applauded for a couple of minutes with Cyclone fans. Just never saw that coming.
One tiny bright moment during Saturday's game....
