Anyone else watching when Selden went down (rolled his anke) on a drive to the basket, no contact and clearly no foul, but almost before he went to the floor there were several whistles going off to stop play so he could get out of the game. WVU clearly trying to get the ball in and push it down the floor.
I have zero reffing experience, so can anyone tell me why this went down this way vs them not even considering stopping play when MM was taken out and lying on the floor in our game Monday night? Not complaining, just wondering if anyone knows the rule or guidelines regarding how/when they stop play for an injured player.
