Were they just incompetent or was there something else going on? Delaney was ticked OSU didn't get in. So if you can make OU's or another league that competes with his team for playoff spots look worse it is in their best interest to influence a game like this. Plus, Iowa State competes with Iowa on the field and competes with several others in recruiting. Knowing this guy is super aggressive at elevating the Big 10 any way possible I wouldn't put it past him. In reality it is just probably just incompetence, but my goodness that was bad. The officials taking 10 seconds off the clock to call a TD? A simple catch that was ruled not a catch? They missed several holds. The second targeting call, the missed false starts, missed PI in the end zone on Butler. Seriously, how can they be this bad?
