Updated Sunday afternoon, only guys I have personally confirmed are shown.
Robert Hudson, OL, Walled Lake (Mich.) Western
Confirmed this official visit directly with Hudson this afternoon. He still says he is committed to Purdue and will visit West Lafayette next month, but has been open to looking around a little with the coaching change. Cyclones seem really high on him and may have a shot depending on how things go with the Purdue staff change.
Josh (JJ) Allen, DE, Long Beach (Cal.)
Allen was committed to Arizona as a 2016 prospect but spent another year in junior college ball and is now coming out as a 2017. Has another P5 offer from Kansas as well as several G5 offers. We'll know about his particulars after we get a phone convo in with him.
Jacob Bolton, OL, Roswell (Ga.)
Iowa State has been recruiting Roswell hard and in particular Bolton's HS, Blessed Trinity. Already some 2018 and 2019 offers there. Bolton is a three-star prospect with a number of G5 offers but ISU is his only P5 that we know about.
Richard Bowens, CB, Orchard Lake (Mich.)
Bowens was one of the first commitments in Iowa State's 2017 class, making his pledge back in April. Other P5 offers included Minnesota and Syracuse and he also claimed a long list of G5 offers.
Josh Johnson, WR, North Little Rock (Ark.)
Johnson has been a solid commitment to Iowa State since late summer. He has made several unofficial visits to Ames and it was just a matter of timing in terms of when he would make the official happen. He got a home visit from ISU on Thursday.
Connor Robbins, OL, St. Augustine (Fla.)
Robbins is another 3-star target with a long list of offers from both the P5 and G5 ranks. He also has an official scheduled to South Florida in Jan., but that could change with Coach Taggart leaving the Bulls for Oregon.
Iowa State is also expected to have a potential graduate transfer on campus for the weekend. Offensive lineman Hunter Knighton has been a back-up at Miami (Fla.)
As always, still some other possibilities out there that I am working to get in touch with, guys who had previously said it might be this weekend, but we've not yet heard back on a final confirm.
