Back when Campbell appointed Manning the OC after former OC Candle accepted the Toledo HC job, I would have sworn we were told that, for all intents and purposes, Manning was a co-OC at Toledo and was heavily involved in calling plays there.

Anyone on here remember the specifics?

I can't imagine Campbell would risk his career and his new P5 job on a guy that didn't know anything about calling plays and coordinating an offense.
