Matt Campbell acts as his own offensive coordinator (his background) now that Candle, who he is comfortable with, is now a head coach at Toledo? Not sure how that works, but I know that it happens elsewhere in FBS, but not sure if it happens in P5 anywhere.
He would still have an OC for planning and coordinating, but would handle play calling on game days. Some thought FCPR would maybe be the DC, if he had not been fired and Wally had retired. Just wondering if it might work on offense.
