Offense:

1) Our formations look bunched up. The receivers are not spread out far enough to spread the field. May help run game to open things up with space.

2) Again, no TE involved in passing game?Almost all our plays are fly patterns down the sideline and Lanning underthrows 75% of them. One play over the middle, down the seam to Lazard was successful. I didn't see any slants or out patterns. We still should scrap the bubble screen. I don't think we are spread out enough for that.

3) We didn't give the running game a chance. I hate the read option. Both players kind of stand there and slow down until the read is made. You get the players thinking too much and the play doesn't flow. Also could have done some sweeps to get Warren and Nene?, the fastest guy on the team, outside. UNI was stacking the box and we didn't change anything.

Defense:

1) Not sure about the 4-2-5. Our LB's got eaten up. There's only 2 of them on the second level and they are not that talented. Also too much ground to cover. I would have kept Jay Jones as a hybrid backer in there most of the time. Now he's a corner. We really need to recruit LBs. Worried about run defense, especially on Saturday.

2) Our DE did not contain very well at all. Bailey is good and fast but most of the time the DE had crashed in and our LBs were nowhere to be found. This left huge running lanes for a fast QB. Also watched Jhaustin Thomas for several plays. Seemed to have no fire and going through the motions. Was disappointed. Maybe thinking too much in the new system?

3) Wish we could have 4 Demond Tuckers on the D line :)
