For those that want to bring back baseball, just remember that no northern school has won the NCAA baseball tourney since 1966, when it was Ohio State. That is 53 years of southern and west coast schools winning it. Michigan came close this year, but even if they had, that would clearly be an outlier. This just shows you that northern baseball is almost futile. There is never going to be any time in my lifetime where northern baseball is going to be a consistent contender. Unless you have tons of money laying around, not sure that baseball is a worthwhile investment for a northern school.
