Grace Lazard, no relation that I know of to the football Lazards, is a 6-2 middle blocker from England who enrolled in spring and is competing with the team right now.
Also, I haven't been following the VB recruiting as closely as I usually do and I never realized this incoming class is rated No. 1 in the country by some publications. They got 6 players, three in the top 40 in the country, along with Lazard and two highly rated Iowa girls.
While you're on that site, check out the video of the Schaben girl. She's a very impressive hitter, judging from her highlight videos. She's also from Iowa (Harlan) and one of those top 40 recruits.
