Iowa State was among the schools that offered Cooper City (Fla.) defensive end Rashad Weaver Monday night after he de-committed from Michigan. Weaver tweeted the details of how things fell apart with Michigan and Harbaugh.
This is the second recent de-commitment from a long-time Michigan pledge, although the Eric Swenson deal was a little different as he had originally committed to Brady Hoke at UM. Josh Hemholdt did an update on Swenson yesterday and there was no mention of Iowa State, so I think that might have been a non-starter.
