The new staff's approach is exciting and seemingly rewarding as they/we appear to have gathered some good prospects from judo, h.s. And transfer player pools. Seems from out here, deep in the peanut gallery that the active and productive recruiting could have a very positive impact on winter training and spring practices as 1) the returning roster has some very good leadership among its members if everything we learned last year + is reasonably accurate, and 2) new coaches' new eyes and the presence of new competition might provide additional motivation for some returning players.
We can expect that the Cyclones need good winter and spring sessions due to the advantage most of our 2016 opponents have from extra practices this fall for bowl participation.
