I am never going to cut up a whole chicken again. It's a pain in the ass. I've cut up whole chickens before. In fact, I've cut up dozens of them, but that was 30-plus years ago. But I gave it up when stores started offering whole cut up chickens. Whatever happened to those? Now all you get is a package of thighs, a package of wings, a package of legs, a package of leg quarters, a package of breasts, or packaged whole chickens, no cut up whole chickens, at least in the stores I shop in. I haven't needed a whole cut up chicken for 30-plus years until now, but I needed one this time, so I cut it up myself and made a total mess of it, I'm so out of practice. What a pain. Next time, I tell the butcher to cut it up for me.
