I want to rid this roster of players who have been hitting .220 or less all season and get guys who can at least hit at a .275 clip...and I don't care if they never hit a home run. Just get on base and make something happen!!
Going through game after game after game of getting 4 or 5 hits a game, or fewer, is embarrassing and getting old. It's mind-blowing to me that a major league player can only get a hit 2 out of 10 times they're at the plate. Good grief.
I'd make an exception for one or two players who play great defense, but we have WAY too many .220 hitters.
