Meanwhile, in real news, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled, in somewhat of a split decision for the NCAA, that schools are not required to pay athletes over and above the full cost of attendance, ie, the up to $5000 for using the "likeness" of an athlete that the lower district court had decided. Attached is a link to an article on the ruling which also includes a link to the actual court decision.
