KTIV in Sioux City has covered Scherff's getting drafted in the first round, ad nauseam. I get it that he's a western Iowa kid from Denison; but good grief. There was a story on KTIV again this morning. Does anyone really think a Cyclone would have received this much coverage? BTW, the sports director on KTIV is Brad Pautsch, an ISU alum. This part of the state crawls with tavern hawks. I guess it's all about ratings.
