Iowa State senior Monté Morris has been invited to participate in the CP3 Elite Guard Camp, which is run by nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul. The camp will be held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, from June 23-26.
Paul hosts the top high school and college point guards from around the country for the training camp. Campers are tutored by Paul on a number of different aspects of the game, including skill development, film breakdown and life skills.
Last summer, Morris attended the Adidas’ Global Nations event and participated in tryouts for the USA Basketball Pan American team.
The Flint, Michigan native returns for his senior season as one of the best point guards in the nation. He averaged 13.8 points and paced the Big 12 Conference with 6.9 assists and a 4.2 assist-to-turnover ratio. Morris was a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the nation’s top point guard.
