Miyan Williams, the RB commit, had 183 yards and 2 TDs on 12 carries in Winton Woods 30-7 win Friday over Upper Arlington, Winton Woods' 12th consecutive regular season win. The win moves Winton Woods to 3-0 on the season. Williams surpassed the 5,000 career yard mark in the game before this, a 49-0 rout of West Clermont, where Williams rushed for 79 yards and a TD on 11 carries. He had 132 yards in the first game of the year against Trotwood-Madison, another Ohio powerhouse school, which Winton Woods defeated 36-7. On the season, Williams has 394 yards rushing and is averaging more than 10 yards a carry, for a team that doesn't seem to need him that much, especially in the second half, as they have blown out all of their opponents so far. He has 5,222 rushing yards for his career.
Update: Williams had 165 yards and no TDs tonight (Sept. 20) against perennial power Moeller, who must have fallen on hard times, because they dropped to 1-3 on the season. Winton Woods scored 27 points in the first quarter en route to a 34-0 win as they improved to 4-0.
