I think he gives us the best pass rush out of anyone on the team. I’d like to see him at DE more. In OT they put him on the edge once and he immediately was in on the QB who scrambled right into Vance. He’s too good to keep on the bench. We really didn’t get a lot of consistent pressure rushing 3 on Saturday. UNIs OL was good at pass protection. When we did, Bailey and Eni weren’t quick enough to catch the QB. McDonald is so quick he has to play on passing downs. I thought Eni and Bailey would have had some sacks. Peterson is going to be a beast. I didn’t catch much of Leo. I find it hard to believe McDonald isn’t one of the top 4 DE. I know he’s been practicing at LB but that position seems full as well. Let’s at least use him for pass rushing on the edge. Did he play at all at LB on Saturday? How many total plays?
