Over on CF and twitter CW has reported some Iowa State interest in a possible graduate transfer from St. Johns, Christian Jones. He's a 6'7", 230 lb. power forward. Supposed to be physical and athletic. He disappeared under Lavin, but played quite a bit under Mullin, more as the season went on. He ended up averaging 8.4 pts. and 5.2 reb. a game (25 mpg). This of course was for a bad St. Johns team, but his last four games he averaged 17.5 points a game and scored 29 points in their last game against Marquette. He surprised people with a very good mid-range shot this year.
