A common theme in the Hoiberg leaving/staying conversations is that TJ would not be a good replacement. I have not seen anyone elaborate as to why. I know virtually nothing about TJ's coaching skills, personality, offensive/defensive philosophies, etc. Based on the strong feelings expressed in recent threads, it seems that some here are quite knowledgeable about these details and i'm wondering if they might share some of them.
I'm curious about this both as it pertains to his ability to be a head coach at ISU, as well as his abilities as an assistant. I truly know very little about the man.
Thanks.
