Let me preface this by saying up front that I don't know anything about marketing details.
But it seems to me that our exclusivity may be causing us to miss an opportunity to truly "own" the state of Iowa for a good while. Cyclone TV is a good way to market to Iowa State fans. It is a poor way to market to neutral fans or fans you want to reach. It seems to me that we ought to be doing everything possible to reach as many fans as possible - with Iowa experiencing a general malaise among the general fanbase. But, maybe, since Mediacom is so prevalent here in Iowa, it is not an issue. I know that our local cable TV would love to carry Cyclone TV, but can't due to exclusivity. There have to be a lot of other towns where this is an issue as well.
And our radio network is terrible. Until I found 105.1, I couldn't get, without interference, the post game show and I was either JTS, or the parking lot. This ought to be the next issue (or at least one of them) that Jamie addresses. We have a chance to be the predominant program, but it has to start in Iowa.
