It certainly is harder to watch us lose close games to teams than it was when we got killed by most teams. I think it is good to be disappointed a care we lost than as in the old Cyclone days really not care/be surprised we got killed.
Being a better football program means more close wins and losses, and more heartache as a fan.
I would much rather be a little bummed we lost a close game to Oklahoma( or whomever) than really not care at all after another blowout loss to Oklahoma (or anyone)
I am disappointed in the win loss record this year but am happy the program is way better than my first 40 or so years of Cyclone Fandom.
