Why do these contestants on reality shows like The Voice and America's Got Talent feel the need to tell everyone they're gay? I could give a rip if you're gay, hetero, trans, or asexual. It's none of my business. Keep your bedroom crap in the bedroom. The world doesn't need to know that crap.
These shows are starting to get on my nerves because it seems anymore that the contestants rely on "Their story," even if they have to make one up, to generate sympathy and votes, rather than their talent. Oh, my mom died when I was 20. She was my best friend. Yeah, everyones mom dies sooner or later. Just shut up and sing or do whatever mediocre talent you think you have and get off the stage.
Right now, I fast forward through most of these contestants because of that very thing. It won't be long before I just quit DVRing it altogether.
